NISCO’s spring steel products are widely used in automobile, railway, machinery, electrical and other industries. The spring steel for the stabilizer bar of the car developed passed the new product identification in 2014, the quality has reached an internationally advanced level, thus replacing the imported spring steel. By 2017, the number of China high-speed rail lines which use the fasteners made of NISCO’s spring steel has reached 17, including China’s first high-speed railway Beijing-Tianjin high-speed railway and the world’s fastest Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. The total achievement of spring steel for the high-speed railway of NISCO ranks first in China, accounting for a quarter of the market. It also supports the Fuxing Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway to become the world’s fastest high-speed railway and establish the latest world’s high-speed railway standard. The China national standard “Spring Steel Hot-Rolled Wire Rod for High-speed Railway Fasteners” is drafted by NISCO, which was officially published on July 12, 2017. NISCO participated in the validation of the standard “Technical Conditions for Cylindrical Coil Springs for Railway Wagon Bogies” announced by the China Railway Corporation.
Also, the “Six Sigma Project to Improve the Flaw Detection Pass Rate of Spring Steel” won the “First Prize of Jiangsu Province for Quality Tools and Statistical Technology Application Achievements in 2017” from the Jiangsu Statistics Research Association. The spring steel for the railway of NISCO has passed the CRCC certification of China Railway, indicating that NISCO has the qualification to supply railway spring steel materials. The main customers are Japan CHKK, South Korean Hyundai, Sogefei, China Bomb, Shandong Repard, CRRC, Hangzhou Xingfa, and other enterprises.
